From the viewpoint of a teacher:

BUY CANADIAN – STAND FOR A BETTER WORLD

As a citizen of Planet Earth—not just Canada—I am deeply troubled by the actions of Donald Trump and the example he sets for humanity.

He is a bully.

At seventy years old, after four decades as an educator of young children, I have always instilled in my students the values of respect, kindness, and consideration—toward one another and toward people of all cultures around the world. These values are the foundation of a just and compassionate society.

Yet here we have a world leader who thrives on division, dishonesty, and cruelty, using power not to uplift, but to oppress. What kind of lesson does this teach our children, the future stewards of this planet? That if you lie, intimidate, and degrade others, you will rise to the top? This is not how we should run a classroom, a country, or—most critically—the world.

I refuse to accept this model of leadership. I refuse to stand by while the ideals of decency, inclusion, and cooperation are trampled. I have always seen myself as a World Citizen, and I believe we must all adopt this mindset to heal our planet and create a future that is vibrant, just, and sustainable.

So, what can we do? We vote with our wallets. Buy Canadian. Buy Mexican. Buy from any country that values humanity over greed. The only language this American oligarchy understands is financial loss. They will not respond to moral outrage because they lack the very decency that makes us human.

This message is written with love and a deep commitment to this planet—its breathtaking landscapes, its incredible creatures, and all the people who call it home. Let’s stand together for a better world.
