MISS SHERRY:
Music notes for the RED & SPARKLES Classes!
WEEKLY MUSIC CLASS UPDATES:
What joy to watch personal growth develop in our little students!

Oct 1st:
This week we focused on music, movement and imagination to support your child's sensory, social and motor development.
This week we focused on music, movement and imagination to support your child's sensory, social and motor development.
We began by listening to Bach's Prelude in C and gently moving with the music, helping children develop awareness and connection with their caregivers. Our Ocean-themed journey encouraged imagination as parents guided their babie's arms like little fish!
We sang familiar songs such as the HELLO SONG, RAIN RAIN GO AWAY, and our Fall song about changing leaves. These help to build early language and seasonal awareness.
Through puppets and fingerplays like FIVE LITTLE MONSTERS and OPEN THEM, SHUT THEM children practiced coordination, listening and counting.
Songs like SLEEPING BUNNIES, FIVE LITTLE FISHES and BABY SHARK (with Ukulele and hand motions) encouraged movement, imitation, and musical engagement.
With the egg shakers children explored rhythm and full-body movement with the song HOKEY POKEY.
We ended with piano exploration, giving them a hands-on introduction to sound and curiosity in music.
Thank you for participating and supporting your child's musical growth each week!
Miss Sherry
