Music Lessons for Children

Join the Musical Rainbow Program 

For all class times at Place des Arts

Each level is named after each colour of the rainbow. Children can start as babies and continue up to the Grade Three Level, the Purple Class to graduate. 

  • Fun group classes both in person and online
  • Learn the basics of good musicianship
  • ear training 
  • learn to read and write music
  • learn about Famous Composers and the instruments of the orchestra
  • get experience performing on stage
  • learn to play Bach, Beethoven and Mozart on the recorder

Through singing songs, learning rhymes and playing simple rhythm instruments children develop the basic skills necessary for good musicianship: the Musical Rainbow program is an excellent prep program before taking private lessons on an instrument.

Purple Graduating class 2022

Congratulations to the Purple Class for graduating from the Musical Rainbow Program! I am proud of all the work the students have done over the years to develop their musicianship! 

Everyone has an artist inside. Some of us just need a little more help bringing that inner artist to life. Once you discover that side of yourself, you are free to be unapologetically you.

I believe music makes the world a better place and shape the people who experience music in special ways. Join the Musical Rainbow program and make your own musical impact on the world around you.
