RED Spring Homework
RED- SPRING TERM
For the Spring term the RED students will continue to build a repertoire of songs and rhymes and have a positive experience in the group with music each week.
The most important thing is to build a repertoire of songs and rhymes. Parents, get to know the songs, sing them at home with the children. Read through 'Musical Hints' page in the workbook!
LUDWIG VAN BEETHOVEN: For the Spring term we will listen to the music of Beethoven. Please play Beethoven music in the home while the children are colouring their weekly handouts.
The piece of music by Beethoven that I want the children to recognize is the theme from the NINTH SYMPHONY, also known as ODE TO JOY!
HOMEWORK WEEK BY WEEK: For SPRING we are starting on Lesson 26. Workbook page numbers are in brackets.

Here are all the songs the RED Students can learn for the recital. Please go through as much as you can. I'm not expecting them to be able to perform all the songs perfectly
At the recitals they may just want to sit with you and watch: That's okay. No stress, no need to try to force them to perform if they are not comfortable.
